It's been a long time since we've updated the family blog and a lot has changed since then including the need for a new blog name since we are now a family of five! Anyhow, we are looking forward to summer and while we are sticking close to home this year (with the exception of a parents-only trip to the Aloha State later this week), we think we have found a way to bring the rest of the United States here and teach our kids about the great country we live in. In order to make this happen, we need to enlist the help of our great friends & family to get the job done.
We will be doing a 50 States Postcard Challenge where we will collect postcards sent from states across the country. If you live somewhere other than our great state of Oregon, or plan to do some traveling this summer, we would love if you would think of us and stick a postcard in the mail from that state (or states). When we get a postcard in the mail, we will update our blog and take some time to learn about the state of the day.
I will be creating an on-going facebook event and will list our address there.
